        Drawings for
      the Callington Mill & Oatlands

Drawings 08.1A, 2A, 3A, 4A.

These are preliminary drawings rationalising ladder locations principally to improve aisle width between a ladder opening balustrade and the westernmost pair of grinding stones; produce as uniform an escape pattern as possible, ie except for the lowest ladder, all are directly above each other; allow all to satisfy the Code; ensure the new positions are structurally possible; and provide a consistent rebuilding formula.

Drawings 08.14, 15 and 20

This is a new set of floor plans and one vertical section essentially the same as before (drawings 06.29A, 30A, 31A and 39A included with the estimate of non-millwright items, Figure 6 of the Second Supplement to the 1994 Conservation Plan, and what the millwright drew out on the floors of the actual mill) but with the ladders in the proposed new locations and some other suggested improvements.
